The hunger games.

Movie review.

The hunger games is the film that has made more than one person to think.

In September 2008, Suzanne Collins published one book of the most famous trilogy nowadays.
The cast is great, first, Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Lenny Kravitz as Cinna, and Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket. The movie director is Gary Ross and Lionsgate Enterteinment acquired the film rights. The film is a combination of drama and comedy.

The Hunger Games follow a simple plot, but full of details.

Every year in the ruins of what it was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and a teenage girl to compete in this games. The hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which ‘’Tributes’’ must fight against one another until one survivor remains. In the arena, Katniss and Peeta have to fight, hide, kill, etc.. to survive.

Special effects play an important role in this movie. They are the ones that give a special touch to the film and make some scenes be very fun and interesting. For example, the explosions, when Katniss is stung by bees, and when Katniss is wearing a dress on fire.

It is very interesting how the people dress in the Capitol. They are very extravagant. Her eyelashes, their mouths painted, their hair, their clothes. On one hand we can realize the luxuries that they have and enjoy while in some cases, other districts live in poverty.

Finally, the Hunger Games is a futuristic film with exciting themes, with an excellent cast. It's a film that grabs you with every detail and that makes you look different perspectives during the frame. Although the film has some things not quite certain, it maintains the values that build up humanity.
